Service Description

A postpartum ceremony is a traditional practice in many cultures that honors and celebrates the transition into parenthood and supports the birthing person's physical, emotional, and spiritual healing after childbirth. The ceremony will generally take place within 6 - 8 weeks of birth. We will co-create a container for the new mom to be cherished, loved, and cared for. This private ceremony can be held at any point after a single or multiple births, pregnancy loss, or abortion. Closing of the bones includes a platica (heart-to-heart conversation), an intention setting, a smoke and flower blessing, a custom blended yoni steam, and the closing of the bones ceremony. **TO BOOK SCHEDULE AN INTRO CONSULTATION** We will meet one-on-one with the new mom to understand her wishes and make suggestions. If you wish, we will work through how her mother, sisters, or daughters can be a part of remembering a forgotten tradition or embracing a new one, celebrating a return to honoring the divine feminine.
